I have never had a twitter account, but now I think I will start using it to share videos with my extended family.
$8 is nothing. And all of my lib relatives who have bailed on twitter will be seething every time I send them a link.
It'll be beautiful!

In a couple of years from now, after YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and most mainstream news media sources have cancelled themselves to death,
Twitter (or X) will be declared a monopoly and the FCC will attempt to break it up.

I, personally, do not TRUST him yet. He has to do this for a lot longer for me to TRUST. But, I am optimistic for the first time in years, that we may have a superhero on OUR side.

Youtubes moderation practices are pushing content creators out. Basically at risk of loosing their livelihood creators have started using rumble while using youtube for short safe clips to link people to their full videos/podcasts. Outside of Twitter youtube is next in line for ads that people actually watch (15 seconds at least). Youtube also cutting off 4k+ to a paywall basically ending any non paid vr usage. Twitter is perfectly positioned to take gill the void youtube is making
