The claim I heard Alex I think it was say, is that russia says they hit them with SAMs, but the debris still caused some damage. Not sure I believe that, but since you asked...

These drones, based on the Soviet TU141 Strizh design, have already been used on several occasions with very limited success. One flew all the way to Hungary and landed there. This time they were intercepted by the air base air defence systems and did NOT hit their targets. The damage was caused by the debris. There are no signs of any explosions in the Engels air base where the strategic TU95 and TU160 bombers are based. Most likely TU22s suffered some damage to their skin"
