That said, dinky’s never really had much of a cult following.

I always ruin a good deal like that, because the first thing I do is put Duncan’s in it and Grover’s on it. Now it’s a $400 guitar…. D’oh!

Thats a steal! I've had a few Jacksons over the years, most of which were MIJ, they are incredible instruments. The only one I have left is an early 00's DK2M, also MIJ.

Just picked up a 1992 Sheraton made in Korea without a mark on it for $250

Gotta keep one eye open for deals at all times!

The guy appeared to be a high schooler. Nice kid living with his mom. I didn't want to ask too many questions like where he got it. It was a model I hadn't heard of which surprised me. That made me think it was asian but no. I ran the serial and it was a 97 made in Japan Dinky. The model was an ASM V. The only DK produced that was non Floyd and two hum configuration. It was dirty but not scratched or chipped. That boggles the mind. 25 years old and the finish was in great shape. If it has a weak point it is the chrome covered Duncan Designed pickups but I will leave it alone. I have others...Central Florida

Older Tokai, Greco, Burney, Fernandez, etc... are all still relatively cheap amazing MIJ instruments, If it says Jackson, ESP, or Ibanez you are SOL and paying whatever the seller is asking.
