This affects them more than the mega carriers who all hate truck drivers and are fully on board with more and more regulations to rid them of the competition from small carriers. Really what's keeping freight cheap now is not paying the driver's hourly. Trucking gets away with a lot of free labor. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84925976 whatever they put out needs to be challenge and sued On the contrary , they can and do, frequently. Guidlines are not laws, they're simply recommendations. Like the CDC recommends that everyone get vax. Then allow the country to misinterprets it as a lawful mandate. Then they put it on the shoulders of employer to apply the requirements of vax or no work. I agree with you but these are not guidelines These are regulations = laws The federal government publishes Rules in the Federal Register codified as law under 49 CFR and enforced by the EPA, who writes the laws |

The EPA, along with every other three letter agency is so out of control it is beyond belief. We are not even close to having the infrastructure to support electric vehicles, nor are there enough resources to support making the batteries needed. Where has the common sense gone with these people that run these agencies? Oh, that's right, they are on China's bankroll or getting bribed...... The imbalance of all guberment three letter agencies is so bad that it's a matter of time before they all implode!!! They're not on China's bankroll. Lol The entire world is changing. Before we have to pay another cent toward their make believe human caused climate change, other countries should have to catch up first. Pay their fair share. India and China are smoke stacking away, yet the American tax payer gets penalized. Watching this country go down one step at a time. They're just chipping away. One commie move after another. |

This allow highest vehicle fuel mileage, by using all the fuel to put power into moving the pistons. NO2 and NO3 in the atmosphere work exactly like NO2 and NO3 created by electrical discharges, and convert to weak nitric acid, fertilizing everywhere the rain falls. Sulfur in coal combustion creating weak sulfuric acid moves through a similar cycle. The great rise in agricultural fertilizer dependency happened immediately after the EPA declared NO2 and NO3 as evil. Soil becomes depleted and dependent on corporate fertilizer. Many now also must add sulfur as we have effectively eliminated most of that from natural distribution. Anonymous Coward User ID: 77634297 United States 12/28/2022 11:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized a rule Tuesday that will impose stricter nitrogen dioxide emissions standards on new heavy-duty trucks, a move that will substantially hike operating costs for truckers, experts and industry representatives told the Daily Caller News Foundation. Quoting: DeploraVision ™ The EPA’s rule, which is more than 80% stricter than the previous regulation, will require large trucks, delivery vans and buses manufactured after 2027 to cut nitrogen dioxide emissions by nearly 50% by 2045, according to an agency press release. The agency’s rule is intended to push truckers to phase out diesel-powered vehicles and use electric vehicles (EV) instead; however, the compliance costs associated with such rules could suffocate an industry that is not ready to transition to EVs, experts told the DCNF. “It’s going to squeeze out the mid-sized and smaller trucking companies because they’re not going to be able to afford to purchase the new, extremely expensive equipment required to continue to do what they do.” MORE [link to www.thegatewaypundit.com (secure)] Yeah, EPA is good at that! But the truth of the matter is that it is really just about control. They want the POWER to CONTROL the masses. They don't even want us to be able to afford any private vehicles. After all... By 2030 they want us to OWN NOTHING but BE HAPPY. The only way they could MAKE people happy is artificially. Think WIRELESS MATRIX. Internet of things. Internet of LIVING THINGS.
