My wife and I got worried fast. He rolled in a portable ultrasound, and in minutes he had to break the worst news ever to us. Totally healthy 9 month pregnancy. My wife and I were robbed in the night. A demon took our baby Evelyn Rose. But the Lord took her back to heaven. That was 12 years ago.... I can't pray hard enough for you two. This world can throw curve balls at you unexpectedly and sometimes it's the hardest thing to deal with. Know this. Almost 12 months later. My wife and I gave birth to our next daughter. She is the biggest blessing. But she is alone. Supposed to have sisters. I am so sorry for your loss!!! That is a scary situation to be in. Thanks for sharing:hf; |

I completely understand your desire to avoid the hospital but I went into labor with my son at 36 weeks and had him at the hospital. He was born with a birth defect (EA/TEF) that was not detected by ultrasound or we would have had him at a more specialized hospital. All worked out, but I don't know what would have happened had we home birthed. He was unable to swallow and the medical staff recognized fairly quickly what the issue was and he was put on an IV and transferred that night to another hospital for surgery to repair the issue. It was a scary situation but the hospital staff took really good care of him. Quoting: Truth2free My friend’s mother labored in the parking lot of the hospital and just went in at the last minute to have her babies. At the beginning of labor she would go to a Waffle House with her husband so he could eat something and she could eat as well if she felt like it. Then just have your husband stay with the baby at all times. Just tell the staff no shots for now(no time for a debate on vaccines)so as not to get the staff riled up. They will leave you alone. Take baby home and then do what you want in terms of medical care. |

Any meditation tips ? I don't meditate often. Not sure if it's too late to learn before birth. Just pray all the time. Ask God for what will help you. And how are your magnesium levels? Many people are low on that. It helps us to relax. You always know when you get too much because you will get the runs. It keep constipation away. Also eat iron rich foods. Lots of protein. Then when you are nursing eat lots of carbs for rich milk. Oatmeal is great for that. |

Favor your left side when sleeping and let people wait on you. I dialated a bit a month early and baby still came a week late. Sending prayers your way. Excited for you, too.
