Secondly, if deployed, and that’s a very big IF as Russia doesn’t need to throw a tantrum like the petulant child Zelenska for a couple tanks, it’s in a police/anti-partisan role. They are not being sent to the frontlines. Can you possibly understand that?

Furthermore, Russia has countless T-34-85Ms. They don’t need to ask Upper Revolta or Vulgaria or Slobovia for some.

Regardless, T-34s are still in combat in the world, including in Yemen.

I can see a strategy of running those tanks as decoys. Mix them in with your regular fleet, or just drop a couple off to attract attention in the wrong places.

One factory in Russia was making 4.2 brand new T72s a day in 1985 while also upgrading old tanks. Figures arent available for today but I imagine they are cranking em out these days.

I dont think they need T-34s for battle....
