This class is sponsored by Hennepin County Library and is available as a free class! All students must be 18+ years of age. Learn how to carve a spoon from a fresh cut tree using traditional Nordic carving techniques..... THIS CLASS IS INTENDED FOR FOLKS IDENTIFYING AS PEOPLE OF COLOR, please do not register if you are a white-bodied person. This course will be held at Hennepin County Library location East Lake Library. After the understandable backlash, the library changed course. The Hennepin County Library says that an event posting advertising a Nordic spoon carving class for people of color only was "incorrect."
