I once visited Saint Catherine's Monastery on the Sinai Peninsula, at the foot of Gebel Musa (Mountain of Moses). According to legend, it was built on the site of the Burning Bush and is the oldest Christian Monastery that is still operational. Inside, there is a room that has plates on display with Biblical scenes painted on them. These plates are extremely old and priceless. Quite a few of them have a black Jesus painted on them, but taking photos inside is forbidden.

Thank you for sharing - where is the Sinai Peninsula? I feel dumb but oh well. Greece!?

There’s is black Madonna in Ireland. So why not Black Jesus.

My point of this thread all, in all- was to say the Divine energy of Jesus lives within us ALL- if we notice.

Well, he was the ultimate conman... who never worked a day in his life past 13 and then wandered around aimlessly with his posse -breaking the laws of and defying the Roman empire the whole time- until he was arrested, tried, convicted and executed. So, there's that.

Re: Jesus could be Black?
Why was he a conman
 Quoting: M. Guinefort

For passing off simple tricks as miracles among ignorant nomads and using them to build a false reputation as the son of God. For example: Consider what would happen if a learned man [as Jesus was after he studied in Tibet during those "missing years" Christians conveniently ignore] came upon a man others presumed to be dead, only to revive him through artificial respiration; in that context, a "Lazarus" tale would immediately spread like wildfire. And nothing bolsters a cult like mass-hysteria.

Jesus never owned his own Ass -let alone a house or other property- and instead leeched off the charity of others like an ancient Blanche DuBois as he charmed his way through life eating, drinking and sleeping via the kindness of strangers.

And if that's not a con, nothing is. Theologians are very quick to point out how Jesus' divinity compelled the allegedly wicked to immediately accept his teachings... but NEVER consider how many people must also have cursed Jesus and chased him away from their mudhuts because they saw him for what he really was.

It's ALL a matter of perspective unclouded by two millennia of indoctrinating propaganda as proliferated by the un-Holy See.

And BTW: the word "propaganda" itself was coined by the Vatican [in 1622 by Pope Gregory XV] to describe its determination to convert non-believers into that all-consuming, authoritative faith.

But admittedly, perhaps the greater con-artists were those that followed in Jesus' footsteps when they wrote their testimonies decades after his death just to cash in on a fledgling movement dedicated to bringing down the 3,000 year old system of Polytheism... just as Moses and Joshua [who were both murderers] had attempted in Egypt. So the con was nothing new. But you saw what happened to Moses and his tribe!

According to the OT, ultimately even God got tired of their duplicitous ways and when they defied Moses -and the ten commandments he chiseled himself- by building that golden calf, the whole lot were cast into the desert to wander for forty years to kill off all the offending generations.

And from Moses' raids upon the Pharoah's temple graineries -and the beating/killing of the Priests therein- the Christian modus operandi never changed right up to Rome, circa 100-300Ad.

FACT: Rome at that time was a major tourist destination where the sheer masses of different people -and their beliefs- demanded a tolerant attitude for all sects. As such, ANY religion could be practiced as long as it was done PRIVATELY and did not interfere publicly with the worship of established Gods.

But just like their Egyptian ancestors, the Christians were a terroristic lot who trashed those statues and vandalized temples with both paint and blood... capitol crimes under Roman law where there was no separation of church/state. And THAT'S why they were PRO-secuted and not PER-secuted. And once Constantine I's 313AD Edict of Milan legitimized Christianity, they REALLY took charge by burning libraries and pulling down the old temples and statues. And for a genuine eye-opener, research what they did to the innocent female scholar Hypatia when those "holy" mobs dragged her from her academy!

Once Constantine I snared them as a powerful political lobby [which was his ONLY motivation], it didn't take long for the newly-recognized"official" religion to erase their own murderous ways and label all others as the enemy.

And nothing has really changed ever since as Christians steadfastly rally against all challengers and still claim only THEIR version of history is correct.

The trouble is -like Jesus- it's always been just another massive conjob.

In his letter Lentulus describes the condemned man named Jesus of Nazareth as having: a noble and lively face, with fair and slightly wavy hair; black and strongly curving eyebrows, intense penetrating blue eyes and an expression of wondrous grace. His nose is rather long. His beard is almost blonde, although not very long. His hair is quite long, and has never seen a pair of scissors.....His neck is slightly inclined, so that he never appears to be bitter or arrogant. His tanned face is the color of ripe corn and well proportioned. It gives the impression of gravity and wisdom, sweetness and good, and is completely lacking in any sign of anger. I have a few things to say. First, rappers have been on this trajectory heavily the past few years because they're falling into the BHI corner store cult. Second, who cares what color He was. Third, Christianity takes faith, we don't need to know what He looked like until the day of His return. So again, who cares?

Re: Jesus could be Black?

A key turning point in my research came when I was stunned by a remark in Colin Wilson’s Atlantis and the Kingdom of the Neanderthals:

The Romans issued a wanted poster for Jesus, which still survives, describing him as short (about four foot six), bald-headed, and hump-backed.

This description of Christ appears to match the description of Paul in the apocryphal The Acts of Paul and Thecla:

A man of small stature, with a bald head and crooked legs, in a good state of body, with eyebrows meeting and nose somewhat hooked.

Could Jesus and Paul have been the same person? One of the greatest mysteries associated with modern theories about Christ is—if accepting that he had survived his crucifixion—the question of what had become of him afterwards. If Christ had indeed survived his crucifixion, he would not have gone through such an ordeal only to vanish into obscurity. He could hardly have continued to be around as “Jesus”, since he was supposed to have been taken up into heaven forty days after his resurrection. In Barbelo it is shown that following his recovery from the crucifixion, Christ continued leading his revolution and building up his forces under the guise of the biblical Paul of Tarsus. Josephus knew him very well, but referred to him as the Egyptian who led a failed uprising against the Romans, an accusation brought against Paul during his final arrest.

He were a midget and had the mark of the beast upon him!
