We are monitoring our own area (we are a football field's
length AWAY from the main fault in our state...have been
having tiny tremblers but nothing really bad so far.)
We had a 7.0 pt. a couple years back that sent us to the
front curb...these things are just terrifying to feel
and a 7.8 pt (actually an 8.8 pt. by the "OLD Richter Scale"--they changed it in the 1980's.)

This "DOUBLE-EDGED" disaster (quake and a failing dam,
as well) is just too over-the-top to even comprehend.
