huh, pilots that happen to have a p900 camera in the cockpit, what are the odds.

Use some discernment in these matters. Obvious flare drops for a training flight.

If I were a pilot I can think of 3 reasons I would want to carry a good camera on me at all times.

1: You are traveling the world and you don't know when you could be staying over for a day or two due to various reasons, volcanos, politics, engineering issue etc

2: If you see something strange out the window you can get good footage.

3: You can photograph some of the best cloud formations, scenary, sunsets you have ever seen.

Nobody will ever be able to do anything with little don't of light on the computer screen.

If you’re specifically saying this is a dragonfly drone. Appears they can go up to 1000ft

It seems some specialized versions can go higher. But on average they’re way below a planes cruise altitude

Also look into the average cloud altitude. These crafts had breached that. So the plane was likely higher than the average cruise altitude
