If the Sun goes dark, the Moon will too, but the writer thought
the Moon was an independent light source.

Revelation (6:13)

And the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts
its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. (Revelation 6:13)

The writer thinks stars are twinkling diamonds hanging in the sky,
In the end times, they will fall to the ground like unripe fruits.

Apparently, a Fairytale written by apostle John without any knowledge of
astronomy. Either he fabricated the story or just had false vision or dreams.

Revelation (6:15)
Kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty and everyone
else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

The author didn't foresee slavery would be abolished, Oops.

God created the Earth 1 day before the Sun and Stars{Galaxies}.

Does this make sense to you?

Yes, It made sense until Nicolaus Copernicus proposed Heliocentrism.

Before that, man believe in Geocentrism that the Earth is the center of the cosmos,
so there had to be a center before the Sun, Moon, Stars could circle around
thus the creation story would conveniently claim the Earth came first.

Yes, obviously a fairytale fabricated without modern knowledge of astronomy.

Let's say the author of the creation story wasn't the brightest crayon in the box,
he forgot that you have to have the Sun before you can have night and day.

Since the Sun was created on the fourth day, the length of day was really undefined here.
Some christians claim that it is far longer than 24h, to make the story more plausible,
but it will create more problems than it solves. Let's say a day here equals to 1 earth year,
then the Earth and it's plantations, which were created on the third day,
would have been in the dark for a full year without the Sun.

The Bible's flood story has been debunked to death, so i'll just chip in a bit..

Think about the origin of amazon, alaskan and african aboriginals, if Noah's offsprings
were sophisticated enough to migrate to other continents, supposedly no man's land
since everybody had drowned, would they miraculously turn into primitives that
had limited vocabulary?
