The IT manager made sure all of our art computers were kept offline, and even shut down networking processes within windows. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 86396940 Those computers were blazing fast and stable. I switched trades and became an audio engineer. I kept that policy with me for the last 27 years. My offline server and tablets are blazing fast and super stable. If you need internet: use your phone. If your digital work is mission critical: for god's sake keep it offline. Shut down networking and unused processes. Any files that need to hit the internet can be transferred via USB key to your phone or dummy box. --------------- Don't care. The professors say the design is likely some form of hardcoded backdoor for potential future access by intel agencies. Israel's backdoors Anonymous ID:ENDSlc1B Sat 09 Dec 2023 04:01:43 No.451351129 From wikipedia. - "The first intel fab outside the US was in Jerusalem, Israel, started in 1985, converted into a die-prep facility to support a new large nearby fab in 2008". - Coincidentally the intel ME backdoor started being embedded to their CPUs in 2008. - AMD's first r&d center in Israel started in 2011. - Coincidentally AMD's own version of the intel ME: AMD PSP, started being embedded to their cpu's in 2013. - Apple's Senior VP of Hardware is from Haifa, Israel. Apple originally opened a new research and development office in Herzliya Pituach, in 2015." - Coincidentally: Pegasus's iOS exploitation was identified in August 2016 - Qualcomm has multiple R&D centers in Israel, the largest two are in Haifa and Hod Hasharon. They operate there for more than 25 years. More recently, Qualcomm invested in a cybersecurity startup Team8 in Israel in Jan 2017. - Coincidentally: In April 2017, Google researchers discovered Android malware "believed to be created by NSO Group Technologies" and named it Chrysaor (Pegasus' brother in Greek mythology). -> Israel: 9 million people, average IQ: 92.43, doesn't make phones, and is the US's greatest ally -> China: 1.4 billion people, average IQ: 104.1, makes its own smartphones and is an economic competitor to the US -> Pegasus affected the EU the most: Morocco used it to cuck the EU for the US/Israel: the US recognises western sahara as moroccan territory and Morocco recognizes Israel, giving the US access to underwater mount Tropic that would otherwise belong to Spain if the western sahara was disputed since it's close to the canary islands. Soon after, the EU started heavily sanctionning Apple (since they can't do shit against the jews): usb-c, removable batteries, sideloading, high powered antennas only became an issue after pegasus. Thus the question: how the fuck did Israel hack iOS 3 times while China wasn't able to do it? Only logical answer is that they didn't hack shit, they make the backdoors there. Everything has a back door idiot. The secret back door fail safe has been standard operating procedure in the high technology sector for decades. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 86921096 United Kingdom 03/27/2024 03:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | EUV is needed to produce advanced computer chips at scale and with acceptable yields for 5nm and below. Future AMD and Intel computer processors will rely on EUV machines. If China wants competitive modern computers that aren’t slow, it must continue buying American chips. Quoting: Emeraldlight or it can just take taiwan where they make all those 5nm and below chips? i heard the big chip plant maker got hacked a while back so all but the very latest chips can now be made by whoever did it/bought the info (likely china) |
