Intel Stock Fell on China Worries—but That’s Not the Real Problem
EUV is needed to produce advanced computer chips at scale and with acceptable yields for 5nm and below. Future AMD and Intel computer processors will rely on EUV machines. If China wants competitive modern computers that aren’t slow, it must continue buying American chips.

Intel, however, is facing a more significant challenge than this latest round of Chinese governmental restrictions. Last week, Nvidia revealed its upcoming lineup of AI computers led by its top-of-the-line GB200 NVL72 liquid-cooled rack system with 72 Blackwell GPUs.

The issue for Intel is that the upcoming best performing AI system from Nvidia won’t use Intel server processors and will incorporate Nvidia’s Arm-based CPUs. Intel is likely to lose server chip market share to the Arm-based Nvidia AI systems.

That’s the main problem for Intel—not the noise about China.

China bans both AMD and Intel CPU Anonymous
ID:jn1MD4xf Mon 25 Mar 2024 22:57:30 No.462962788

China claims Intel CPUs after Pentium 4 have a CIA backdoor, these are now banned in China.
China also claims AMD CPUs after the DDR2 memory version of dual AMD Athlon (released sometime before 2010) was the last AMD that doesnt contain CIA backdoor. All more recent AMDs henceforth have been banned in China.

[link to muropaketti.com (secure)]

China will now start to use Huawei for more recent computing and will forget about x86 systems alltogheter since Huawei is not compatible with them.

However China does have stockpile of old AMDs and Intels (Intel is much inferior due to it being Pentium 4) and if there is something that absolutely requires x86, China will use these 10+ year old machines.

But Huawei will replace Intel and AMD where-ever its possible to do.

Q. Why not make an x86 chip of their own, but without the backdoors?

A. this is too hard, only Intel and AMD can do it, thats why others dropped from the contest a long time ago:

IBM x86: gone since 1997 (CPU was called Blue Lightning)
Cyrix x86: gone since 1999
VIA x86: gone since 2003
TransMeta x86: gone since 2004 (CPU name was Crusoe)

All of them were 32-bit
Now there is only 64-bits and there are only two: AMD and Intel

Intel started in 1970s and AMD started in early 1980s

Can confirm that every so often, American businessmen show up in random nanotechnology companies and organizations and offer a substantial ammount of funding in exchange for adding a custom design to the edge of every die of every ongoing project involving processing units with no questions asked.
The professors say the design is likely some form of hardcoded backdoor for potential future access by intel agencies.

From wikipedia.

- "The first intel fab outside the US was in Jerusalem, Israel, started in 1985, converted into a die-prep facility to support a new large nearby fab in 2008".
- Coincidentally the intel ME backdoor started being embedded to their CPUs in 2008.

- AMD's first r&d center in Israel started in 2011.
- Coincidentally AMD's own version of the intel ME: AMD PSP, started being embedded to their cpu's in 2013.

- Apple's Senior VP of Hardware is from Haifa, Israel. Apple originally opened a new research and development office in Herzliya Pituach, in 2015."
- Coincidentally: Pegasus's iOS exploitation was identified in August 2016

- Qualcomm has multiple R&D centers in Israel, the largest two are in Haifa and Hod Hasharon. They operate there for more than 25 years. More recently, Qualcomm invested in a cybersecurity startup Team8 in Israel in Jan 2017.
- Coincidentally: In April 2017, Google researchers discovered Android malware "believed to be created by NSO Group Technologies" and named it Chrysaor (Pegasus' brother in Greek mythology).

-> Israel: 9 million people, average IQ: 92.43, doesn't make phones, and is the US's greatest ally
-> China: 1.4 billion people, average IQ: 104.1, makes its own smartphones and is an economic competitor to the US
-> Pegasus affected the EU the most: Morocco used it to cuck the EU for the US/Israel: the US recognises western sahara as moroccan territory and Morocco recognizes Israel, giving the US access to underwater mount Tropic that would otherwise belong to Spain if the western sahara was disputed since it's close to the canary islands. Soon after, the EU started heavily sanctionning Apple (since they can't do shit against the jews): usb-c, removable batteries, sideloading, high powered antennas only became an issue after pegasus.

Thus the question: how the fuck did Israel hack iOS 3 times while China wasn't able to do it?

Only logical answer is that they didn't hack shit, they make the backdoors there.

The so called "Big tech" companies are all front companies for the Military Industrial Complex (MIC). They also have front puppets to make this seem like a legitimate public sector company. (Zuckerberg, Musk, Gates etc.)

In many cases, the MIC creates front companies to slowly release older technology (in military technology terms), but more advanced than public sector technology.

You will see, over the next TWO years, the only tech companies left standing will be the few big tech, front companies. Period.

At the heart of all these military funded projects is SURVEILLANCE. It's just part of the fabric.

This article is full of misleading bs. Intel does not have a problem because they are shifting focus to become a chip foundry. They will become a national strategic asset and therefore indispensable.
Once they begin making chips, they will have the cash to begin buying/making these machines and building those types of chips stateside.

The only problem is that everyone is undermining the US. That's why everyone is shit-talking Intel. All this bullshit about not being competitive is just that, bullshit. They don't need to compete in the AI market right now. That's not the consumer market, the mass market, etc. They need to compete in the general purpose computing market so that the US has some type of chip production capacity. We don't need AI to survive, it's just a boondoggle as it stands right now, a toy.

Who gives a flying fuck about the stock market anymore... unless you're a 2%'er?

The market is simply an indicator of the rich getting richer or poorer, it is no longer an economic indicator like it was just 30 years ago.

Back in 1996, I was an apprentice at a graphic design firm. The IT manager made sure all of our art computers were kept offline, and even shut down networking processes within windows.

Those computers were blazing fast and stable.

I switched trades and became an audio engineer. I kept that policy with me for the last 27 years. My offline server and tablets are blazing fast and super stable.

If you need internet: use your phone.

If your digital work is mission critical: for god's sake keep it offline. Shut down networking and unused processes. Any files that need to hit the internet can be transferred via USB key to your phone or dummy box.
