Good move by the Governor, but why don't we just enforce existing laws like trespass, breaking and entering etc. which are crimes almost everywhere in the US. Charge the invaders with a crime and then use that crime as the basis for expulsion back to the hole they crawled out of.

squatter's rights was a WHITE concept, it meant someone WHITE could commit acts of APPROPRIATION, meaning putting the land to good use and making the area more thriving, it had to do with unclaimed lands in the west , and need for go getters rising up rather than land barrons 2000 miles away neglecting to do anything with the land

I don't understand how squatters EVER had any rights to any property that was not theirs, irregardless of occupancy.

How the States allow this, ever voted on this, protect the squatters, or simply kicked the can down the road is baffling.
