Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80970472 Great jeeps but way too expensive. Which is why you never see them. That's because of VAT and in the UK cars were always highly market up even before cophonyvirus happened. I've seen these models new in some countries for around $19,000 USD I also like the Ignis, how is that model...it also comes with 4wd as well, looks like a very practical and less expensive alternative! |

Well at least for the next month or three until they remove the bridge debris. Could still ship to any one of numerous other ports if you wanted to. Also they sell these models in Mexico, Central America, South America, and Caribbean Islands as well. Basically Suzuki sells everywhere in the world except the USA and Canada. |

You can pick which port you want in the drop down menu. There's plenty to choose from, Baltimore just shows up because it's alphabetically first |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 86855248 It's a shame that Suzuki left the US market before they introduced this newer model. They would have sold like hotcakes for the modest MSRP they've had and it is one of the most reliable brands of cars period. Usually it outranks even Toyota and Honda! These things are simple, reliable, durable, and can beat a Wrangler on the off road ability too. Not only that you can get it with a nice basic 5 speed manual transmission and manually activated 4wd/2wd hi and low... I also like the Ignis and Swift as well. Too bad Suzuki left the USA...Hope someone from Suzuki Global reads this and replies. Maybe Suzuki could enter into an agreement with Mitsubishi and sell these models here in the USA under their brand and dealer network? I owned one in the Philippines and wish I could get one here in the U.S. What I got here was a Jeep Renegade... dont laugh but yea, no comparison. I know a thing or two, because I've seen a thing or two. |

Suzuki is a motorcycle ... just like Honda. Never buy a motorcycle to replace a full size car. The 3cyl Swift engine was a great example of what was almost a full size car. Granted the engines didn’t last much past 200k (kms) they were outstanding in value and getting people into the market. Cideus. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 74821831 United States 03/29/2024 09:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They're cheap because they are built very thin. Yoy have zero protection on side impact. Can't drive then in the US because little to no safety features. The countries that use these don't drive over 40mph |
