The following letter has been sent to Congressmen Fred Upton and John Simkus by BK Lim, Geohazards Specialist, in response to our request to inform the US Congress about a situation of which that they appear to be unaware. The growing need for a real US Congressional Inquiry into the matter of the Macondo Prospect in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) – the site of the BP Oil Spill which began on April 20, 2010 – has been apparent for many months now.
