Seriously, cats have always given me the creeps, I have never liked them. Dogs, on the other hand are different.

I have had a few cats that i actually liked, and they were both of the 'tiger' variety.

And on a side note and the original part of the thread ...

Kitty just came back, he was outside. So it appears that he did not get lost in a time shift, parallel universe or whatever, or he just ain't sayin. It was pretty odd though, as I know I let him in.

I was a dog person until we got a kitty in 1989 for a mouser. Lived in the country. She did an amazing job, all the neighbors loved her for her hunting abilities. Since then, I have come to admire cats. Just something about them. Very intelligent, take care of themselves and quite sensitive to things being 'off'. Still wouldn't mind having a puppy too. This kitty is a stray kitty. We cannot have any pets, so the stray part works out for me. It's just the cutest thing when his harem waits outside for him and are so happy to see him when he comes out after being in for awhile. He has a following that is for sure. Supposed to be the coldest of the season so far later this week. I wonder if he harem will want to come inside then?

I had something similar happen a few years back...except that it was 4 golden retreivers that I let in on a cold, snowy morning, after they were done doing there morning thing outside, and then, poof, gone...and then around 4 in the afternoon, they were all standing back at the patio door again...lookin' to be let it!!?? Yep.??

I had something similar happen a few years back...except that it was 4 golden retreivers that I let in on a cold, snowy morning, after they were done doing there morning thing outside, and then, poof, gone...and then around 4 in the afternoon, they were all standing back at the patio door again...lookin' to be let it!!?? Yep.??

I am not sure what I have learned from this. As hard as it might be to believe, I was more concerned about my sanity, because I know I let him in.

Since he is a stray, and we absolutely cannot have pets here, I had already decided not to form a real attachment to him, or his harem.

It's real hard to explain, but as I said, I KNOW I let him in this apartment.

It's just weird. I am gonna go ahead and mark this down as beginning signs of alzheimers and I don't know if I am kidding or not.
