enenews must be partners with godlikeproductions because GLP gets more money the more visitors they have and the way to attract more visitors is to have more Bad news and enenews provides that

enenews is posted quite a bit here now i notice and they seem to be the only site reporting some of these things and they dont provide much real information with numbers and such

its like Dutchsinse, he'll point at objects on his screen claim it something but doesn't actual back that claim up with real solid information all he has are claims but people eat it up

making claims isnt science its like i could say the sky outside is grey and that means its haarp but i didn't actually prove anything by saying that

It depends how long the situation is ongoing.

If the reactors cannot be controlled for YEARS, then yes we will have continuing accumulation of long lasting isotopes in ocean currents and atmospheric currents.

I just think that its time to stop burying our heads in the sand, and bury those reactors instead in boron.

If you stay in California you will DIE OF CANCER.

This will go on for 50-100 years of critical levels of cancer-causing radioisotopes in the soil, water, food of California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia...

Thread: *** BREAKING *** 50-100 YEARS before the Fukushima reactors are cool enough to encase in concrete.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1349108

Not the first time the US government has lied and obstructed the flow of information about radiation and its deadly long-term effects:

"The AEC selected the Nevada Test Site in southeastern Nevada because the federal government owned hundreds of square miles of surrounding desert land, and because it contained, in the contemptuous words of one bureaucrat, "a low-use segment of the population"--the Mormon citizens of St. George, Cedar City, and other sacrificial cities of southwestern Utah. For seven years between 1951 and 1958, the AEC aimed deadly radiation at soldiers stationed as close as 3.9 miles from the explosions and at the people of southeastern Nevada, northwestern Arizona, and southern Utah by detonating atomic weapons aboveground at the Nevada test site."

"The Downwinders, as those injured by the tests came to be known, hired a team of attorneys headed by Stewart Udall--a former congressman, descendent of Arizona's Mormon pioneers, and former secretary of the interior--to sue the AEC. In filing suits under the Federal Tort Claims Act of 1946 (FTCA), Udall's team bit into a handful of jalapeno peppers--shiny and green on the outside but fiery under the skin. Congress had passed the FTCA to allow people to recover compensation for damages caused by the willful or negligent acts of government employees."

"The Downwinders ran into other roadblocks as well. Even if they could show that officials at the Nevada Tests Site had acted in ways not contemplated by approved plans, the claimants had to establish that the atomic tests more probably than not had caused their leukemia and cancer. This proved extremely difficult, because people with no apparent exposure to atomic radiation got cancer and leukemia, and cancer often remained latent for long periods before spreading through the body."

"The Downwinders filed their case--Allen v. The United States--before federal judge Bruce Jenkins, in Salt Lake City in August 1979. By the time the case came to trail in September 1982, Ronald Reagan sat in the White House, and Henry Gill, attorney for the Department of Energy (DOE), took the lead in presenting the government's defense. Not surprisingly, Gill and his team based their defense on the plea that the AEC had acted within the scope of its legal discretion under the FTCA. Under this line of argument, they said officials at the Nevada Test Site had no duty to warn the public of the dangers of the atomic tests."

"In the meantime, Downwinders sickened and died from leukemia and cancer. As a young child, Claudia Boshell Peterson of St. George mourned as her playmates wasted away under the blows of leukemia and melanoma and lost limbs to cancer. As a mother, she agonized as her daughter Bethany succumbed to a tortuous death under the scalpel of neruoblastoma and leukemia. As a sister, she mourned as her sister Cathy, the mother of six, died from melanoma. Served a mess of pottage by the Tenth Circuit Court and the U.S. Supreme Court, the Downwinders turned to Congress for help. Largely because of the work of Utah's Senator Orrin Hatch and Congressman Wayne Owens, Congress passed and President George Bush approved the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act in 1990 under which the government apologized to the victims for the irresponsible behavior of managers at the Nevada Test Site and established a trust fund to pay for some of the injuries."

I am just going to re-quote one part of this because it is so important:

"Under this line of argument, they said officials at the Nevada Test Site had no duty to warn the public of the dangers of the atomic tests."

not to rain on your doom parade, but the topsoil reading from 4/13 is basically the same as the 4/6 reading (2 readings ago).

I-131 levels in top soil have dropped per the 4/13 vs. 4/6 tests by 327% and CS-137 has dropped since the 4/6 test.

Grass levels for all isotopes have dropped steadily over the past few weeks, CS-134 dropped by 500% and CS-137 dropped by 560% since 4/3 tests. I-131 has dropped 960% since 4/3.

Spinach is the only thing that raises any concern at all since it is trending up for all isotopes.

I agree with you. The current reactors could be leaking and they are not telling us. What we don't know won't hurt us. Also, some of the levels of radioisotopes that we are measuring now could be a result of all of the nuclear testing they did from the 1950's to 1980's. I am not saying that some of the Fukushima isotopes are making their way here but maybe they are just adding to the levels that we already have. Are there any results from testing prior to this accident that we can look at?

The worst for the moment is past

The 137 from the explosion has all landed

the Iodine 131... is not a big deal, nothing some daily KI wont handle

the 134 accumulating is bad

This needs to be stopped in a few weeks not a few years, 2 years and counting on the 134, it would be much harder to avoid cancer from the 134, tiny doses of radiation from internal particulate souces over 2 years? daily... plus a couple of years to stop it?

We are getting into trouble now.

Might sound crazy but...

Before this is said and done we might have to hit the streets, turn the place upside down and inside out...

I hate the revolutiontards in here

But this might be it, we might have to demand Govt intervention or physically kick them out, it will take a while...until people get sick.

But this could end up the real deal, where the people of the USA have to rise, when people start getting sick they will.

I have a strong suspicion this becomes the straw that breaks the camels back and starts a civil war, the states most affected are largely compromised of the states that want to take on the fed govt anyway

If people start getting sick... it's over I think, there wont be much choice.

Not saying ME LOL, I have better plans like...pack my kids and sneak away south or whatever...not much of a participator!

But I think, people are going to flip when strange cancers start appearing.

It's going to be... their own methods that tun on the Govt too... The holding up of children, for years Americans have been conditioned to, be ready to cut the testicles off anyone who might do anything that hurts a child, they hold up babies for Everything...EVERYTHING, to pass dui laws, to get money, to take children, to screw with the environment...and we have been taught to REACT to that.

So when babies start getting Cancer next year... what will Americans do?

Go Nuts that's what they will do.

Then... the Chinese fcator

China throiugh portions of the year faces the same issue, what if China decides to step in will our govt try to stop them? Hpw would the American people react to that... Babies getting Cancer and LIKELY rather than Intervene the USA stands against China a Draft comes in during this? more of our kids pulleed away?

Then the food...

If our food reaches unsafe levels a few HUINDRED MILLION Afrcians will die...

The more I think about this... the Doom potential is really high, really, really high and not just because we are injesting radiation... that's just cancer, we all were going to get that anyway.

If American food can't go out... Holy Jesus H Christ

Idaho seems to have the shit luck of the USA in regards to wind flow and where stuff ends up. Looks like it just dumps there, Chernobyl hit it hard too...

Luck, lot of luck involved here...well, not really luck with a couple of super computers there is logic to it all to be figured out in chaos theory lol

But i'll say luck

Because 200 miles south of me, there are real numbers and 200 miles North of me there are real numbers and hiding here on the side of my mountain really high in the air... Nada mucho thus far.

I actively considered these things in my living choices too, live far away from where I grew up in NY but thinking right now I made good choices not paranoid ones...

The numerics have never been right... since I was a kid, the probability of many things we are doing going out of control was never lost on me, when you add it up... and do probability all day you can see it...

It's statistically Impossible for mankind to survive this era as is.

I mostly like to do the Han Solo "don't ever tell me the odds"

But that's because the odds don't matter IF your in control of the ship... we aren't

Has anyone noticed the high levels in Boise Idaho? I am a bit puzzled as to how and why the levels in rainwater are higher there than elsewhere else. I just wish the government could tell us to keep kids in out of the rain. I used to love rain, not anymore.
 Quoting: Corkinway

Maybe this has something to do with the high levels in Idaho:

“The SL-1 nuclear accident in 1961 in Idaho was a great story I never delved into as the energy reporter at the Idaho Falls Post Register.”

“For Idaho Falls, the story was one of courage of the “heroes of SL-1, who bravely entered the reactor for short periods to limit their exposure to the high levels of radiation at the site to try to save the men. I knew several of these men and the macabre story of how they had to cut off the most radioactive parts of the three men’s bodies and bury them at the site.”

The rest went into lead-lined caskets for burial. Then there was the sensational story said to be behind the accident. Some blamed a love triangle between two of the men and a woman with one apparently so mad he jerked the control rod out of the reactor causing the explosion.”

[link to voices.idahostatesman.com]

A careful examination of the remains of the core and the vessel concluded that the control rod was manually withdrawn by about 50 centimeters (40 centimeters would have been enough to make the reactor critical), largely increasing the reactivity. The resulting power surge caused the reactor power to reach 20,000MW in about .01 seconds, causing the plate-type fuel to melt. The molten fuel interacted with the water in the vessel, producing an explosive formation of steam that caused the water above the core to rise with such force that when it hit the lid of the pressure vessel, the vessel itself rose 3 meters in the air before dropping back down.”

(Does any of that sound familiar?

Re: "Highest Yet: Cesium-134 in Northern California topsoil at 250% level of previous test"
I don’t understand why there has not been much discussion on this thread. This seems very important. California is a major producer of fruit and vegetables. hiding

I live in California. I'm frustrated, but I also believe we will NEVER be told the truth by the governments involved. Never. So discussing it on a thread and getting all upset seems pointless at best. Don't know what else can be said.
We have NO control over this. NONE.
