Tsunami survivors would be crowded up onto the tops of the hills; the entire waterfront would be gone even without a tsunami because it was all built on fill washed down during the Denny Regrade. We visit Seattle as infrequently as possible and I always think about earthquakes while walking through Pike's Place Market. |
