Their assertions are obviously wrong anyway: what you cannot articulate, you cannot even begin to deal with intelligently. And furthermore, if you all are interested in who does most of the talking, it depends upon where. When teenagers talk in public, in every case, it is always the boys that do the interrupting and talking over other people most often. I wish everybody on this thread wouldn't continue to miss the only issue of importance to be conveyed by that creepy article, which is that it is never a good idea to discourage children from telling you what is wrong! Anybody who tries that can only have an evil intention!

We have an epidemic of suicides amongst the young - boys the majority here but not all - and being bullied into silence is about the most common contributing factor. Is there simply not enough IQ on GLP left to see what should be completely obvious to any responsible adult?

Well said. IMHO, most women are really good with kids, but tend to fail when nurturing a relationship with a man, even if he's the dad. It's really important to do both.

You are too kind in supposing they are only drunk here, or even just stupid, which many certainly are but in large part here lately, they are something far worse. They leap upon any chance to spew ugliness, misery, hatred and psychological violence, creating a digital atmosphere that could make one sick if one weren't already. They really couldn't care less about 'understanding' anything outside of their own twisted indulgences.

This site along with others like it, has unfortunately, long been a preferred haunt for the kind of people whose society you'd probably counsel your children to avoid: social outcasts, the insane, drug and alcohol abusers, sexual predators, domestic abusers and religious fanatics who encompass all those shortcomings, because it appeals to the basic paranoia and persecution complex all that ilk usually have in common.
