Abrahamic Religions - The true Evil of this world

There have been so many threads recently regarding Religion that i feel compelled to add my two penneth.

The true evil of this world can basically be summed up in one word.

MONOTHEISM!

These basically encompas the three major religions of the modern world.

Christianity - Judeism - Islam

Irony is that all three of these can be traced back to a common origin of Abraham or recognising spiritual traditions identified with him.

Judeism regards itself to be decended from Jacob, Abrahams grandson.

Christiany was origionally a sect of Judeism.

Islam claims to be the teachings of Muhummed, which is based on a collection of early Abrahamic religions. Shi'a Islam, the Bahá'í Faith and Druze.

Why are the Abrahamic religions so blood thirsty. Well lets look at how Abraham met his God, or Yahweh. Genesis chapter 22 we can see how a minor desert deity named Yahweh claimed to be a 'supreme God', and commanded Abraham to sacrifice his own son Isaac as a test of faith. Abraham proceeded to do so untill and Angel of Yahweh stopped him. As we can see here, these faiths are born from cold blooded murder.

We can see how this violence has continued.

Judeism, anyone who is not a jewish is a pig in the form of a human accoring to their 'teachings'. The jewish people are also responsible for the ethnic cleansing of millions in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan and Egypt for the purposes of recliaming their 'God given holy land'

Christianity, well we have the persecution of the witches, the crusades and more recently both Hitler and Bush claiming to have had dreams where Jesus has told them it's ok to slay hundreds of thousands of people.

Islam, i mean fuck, need i say more than the promise of 40 virgins in heaven for it's sacrificial 'Suicide bombers'

All three of these 'religions' are also responsible for the Death penalty being used in jails, quite often with a priest at the side of the sometimes wrongly accused.

Why do we stand for this shit!!!

We should be looking for true wisdom and real enlightenment from the likes of Hinduism, Bhudism and Witchcraft. Spiritual guidance without a black and white, heaven or hell, good or bad connotation to them. Personal growth for individuals. Not brainwashing for the masses.

They had their beginning under Pope Innocent III in 1203 until the Inquisition's final dissolution in Spain and Portugal in 1808.

The DVD documents as well twentieth century atrocities of the Vatican working with Roman Catholic dictators such as Benito Mussolini, Adolf Hitler; Francisco Franco in Spain, and Antonio Salazar in Portugal. The most brutal and bloodthirsty of all was Anton Pavelic in Croatia four-year reign of terror.

One must use wisdom with the Bible. Why? This little book is sweet to the tongue, but bitter to the stomach. The Spirit of God is in the Bible. Satan and man wrote the bible. One must use wisdom. Credulous beliefs in any form is just not a wise path to go down if we want to keep our sanity. The tenets of the peacefull religions you mentioned are basically mythological bullcrap. But, some of the techniques of these eastern religions can be good for us and should be taken to heart. You could of course say that of any religion. The big three are the worst of them by far.

What puckers my ass is that I'd wager anything 99% of people that claim to be a christian, muslim or the other one have no clue as to its origin yet go on believing nonetheless. Why? They don't want to die. I don't either but that doesn't prompt me to seek answers from incredible sources with no basis in reality. The hardest thing for a person to say is "I don't know". Religion is also an organization of convenience. If you are born in the Americas (north or south), chances are you will be a christian. If you are born in the middle east, you will most likely be a muslim, India...a Hindu, etc...

Basically what you are saying is that religion causes suffering. It is the catalyst for the majority of suffering that we can plainly see when investigating history.

One cannot even go to God unless called. Evil is responsible for suffering - evil with hatred filled hearts.
