Anonymous Coward User ID: 17888201 United States 06/14/2012 09:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have an array of LEDS in front of me. And upon holding either of the legs, and touching the other leg to ground, the led lights up. Quoting: wanny1 Should this occur? Its just that I have used LEDS in multiple applications and never noticed. Plus I watched a video the other day of a "Chi Master", and the team that were conducting tests were amazed that he could light an LED using his hands (And a ground). This happened recently when my boyfriend had his flashlight on his lap. He had been playing with it as it is an innovative, fun flashlight, [link to www.bushnell.com] but he had turned it off and we were watching a movie. All of a sudden the light came on. He was startled by this. He turned it off as we did not spent a huge amount of time trying to figure out what had happened. I did ask him if he had accidentally turned it on. No, he said. We were watching the movie again and the light turned it self on and was strobing. The flashlight does have a strobing function but again, it startled us both and he insisted he had not touched it, although it was laying in his lap. He put it on the table beside the couch after that. Let me know if you find any other info that would explain why this could have happened. My boyfriend's legs were not on the ground. We have a recliner couch and his legs were up. Thanks |

Acquire and LED to test on him :) I have experienced the "SLI phenomenon" far too many times throughout my life to consider these oddities, a coincidence. Thanks for that. Thats the "Chi Master" I was referring to. It inspired me to try it myself. The researchers seem baffled that such a thing should occur. Just uploading a video now. |

I can light up one of those globes you can touch and see lightening type electrical discharge within only normally it has to be plugged in clocks starting and stopping all day, again |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 14899339 United States 06/15/2012 06:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | May sound stupid/weird but one time I was working at Radioshack and a customer brought in a cell phone that they had messed up, the screen was dead. My boss was trying to play a prank on me and told me to check out this picture on it, knowing the screen was dead. I took the phone from him and about 2-3 seconds after I was holding it the screen turned on and I was like, hey there's no picture here. I gave him the phone back after saying that and he was like "WTF!" there shouldn't be a picture on the screen because the screen's broken. When I hand it back to him and he's messing with it, going through the menu's the screen turns off. I was like, wow wtf just happened. |
