CB questions???? What questions, you don't even understand the subject so how would you formulate a question?

Now tell Deacon us, ... how the nebula cloud in Orion would collapse in the near vacuum of space?

So Deacon let me visualized this, a gas cloud with its mass dispersed into the near vacuum of space and equally small force of gravity, no concentrated center is suppose to gather mass, gravity a weak force, yeah right.

Hey Grant... quit bumping your threads. Try addressing some points brought up instead of running and hiding. Obviously, we expect too much of you.

There have been plenty of points brought up by Deacon Blue and Krill. And yet you like to dance around them O brainless one.

You're still pissed off that your imaginary planet didn't show up in 2003, 2004 or 2005. And you're still pissed that your predictions of global devastation didn't happen in March 2004. But hey, you dig yourself into these holes.

BTW, you claim you can predict a hurricane season better than Dr. Gray... so where are your predictions? I'm still waiting for you to tell us how many storms YOU think we're going to have next year. My guess is you're afraid to say it because you know damn well you can't predict a hurricane season better than the next person. All you've done is say we'll have a record year. Duh! Shit for brains. Even Dr. Gray says that and has been for the past couple of years.

Grant, your ignorance is showing again.

That gas (and dust) cloud has a mass of SEVERAL THOUSAND stars. The "force of gravity" of such a mass is anything but "small". As you said, it is "dispersed into the near vacuum of space". Since space is a near vacuum, that means that there is very little pressure to oppose the self-gravity of several thousand solar masses trying to pull itself together. Of course it's going to collapse. It has no choice.

For someone who says "I am astrophysics" your ignorance of physics (astro or otherwise) is almost inconceivable!

just checking back in after returning from my snow day...

Nothing to see, apparently, except that Grant doesn't realize that a large and very massive (in the strict sense) cloud of dust entirely surrounded by a large expanse of vacuum would have any sort of property that would cause it to collapse on itself. Hmmm... what could that be?

You can always spot a woo-woo by the way he is forced to bump his own threads when everyone sees him for what he is and ignores him.

You have to love how Grant comes back to the thread to bump it, yet continues to dance around and avoid Krill and Deacon's questions. Hi Grant.

why keep bumping the thread Grant? We're all sitting here waiting for your answers, which you've said will be along tonight. So why would you expect any comment before then?

Wow, two days since my last post and Grant hasn't said any relevant. Why am I not surprised? I remember last summer he pulled this same tactic of "You'll have the answer tonight when I finish the paper" and then he never posted anything.

I don't see Grant's reply yet, and it's past midnight Eastern.

Oh well, I guess I can come back tomorrow morning to check in. I'm sort of busy tomorrow evening, though...
