The christmas tree is not about the christ. Easter is not a christian holiday either. It came from Ishtar. No pointin fighting these points, you can see from history the origins of these things. If the christain god takes issue with any of this, or is offended by people celebrating / observing / not doing homework on those days that were in fact overtaken from pagans... he must be powerful enough to smite all of them who are evil in his eyes no? Therefore, if you arent struck down for being pagan... its clear that god dosent care. If god wont react to it, why should you? Go in peace... |

The easiest would be to do a Holiday winter break and the spring break and not add or call it differently. This country was founded on freedom of religion (by Christians who were trying to get away from more dominate, forceful Christian sects). I'm a Christian and no-one should be forced to worship Christ, that's why we have this free-will thing so it doesn't go against my beliefs to see that it should be fair regarding all religions otherwise they just need to stay away from the whole thing completely. |
