Serious questions for witches/pagans/Wiccans/etc.
I'm not trying to attack your faith/s or put you down at all, I just have some questions for you. Lots of witches/pagans/Wiccans/etc. say that their faith is the most ancient and they come from generations and have special powers that normal people do not have and so forth. I just have a few questions and I mean this as respectfully as possible.

1. If your gods/goddesses/Goddess/etc. is/are all powerful, why didn't they stop you from being tortured and executed all throughout history and especially in the "burning times"?

2. Why did your pagan pantheons of deities not stop Abrahamic monotheism from displacing them and taking over their lands?? If your gods or Goddess or whatever is all powerful, that means they chose to allow Abrahamic faiths to take over which makes no sense. If they are not all powerful, how is your magickal power able to stand up against the Abrahamic God in any form?

3. If you believe in an all powerful Goddess, why did she choose to create the patriarchy and maintain it over the centuries? If she is all powerful and all knowing, she would have chosen to create the patriarchy and suppress women over the centuries. If she is not all powerful and all knowing, she isn't able to stop the patriarchy and your matriarchal feminist magick is useless.

I'm not trying to be an asshole here, I'm just genuinely curious because this whole "Christianity and Abrahamic religion is dying and people are rediscovering witchcraft and paganism" doesn't make sense in light of some scrutiny.

1 star bandit instantly hit because they didn't want to invest in apologetics.

Come on now, Christians/Hebrews/Muslims/etc. all have to deal with scrutiny and develop apologetic defenses of their beliefs for those skeptical inquirers. You aren't above having to answer these questions just because you are a religious minority.

Why didn't the Christian God stop followers from going through the same which they did and are presently? God is largely dormant in this maya (world illusion), in the minds of men. Upon creating the physical body, the Goddess goes to sleep until awakened which is relatively rare, as is true realization.

Christians were always meant to be persecuted and it was through their martyrdom that the faith was able to spread throughout the Levant and pagan Rome. Christians were always told that they would go through persecution and would be blessed for persevering unto the end. Pagans and witches don't seem to have this same prophetic assurance regarding their faith.

Also, pointing it back to Christians or any other faith doesn't take away the questions directed to pagans/witches/Wiccans/etc. They obviously believe in gods/goddesses/spirits/etc. so it still makes sense that the beings have some explaining to do for their followers regarding the questions originally posted here.

To be blessed for persevering through persecution for your faith cannot belong only to Christianity, as neither can the law of sowing and reaping.

These are not different questions for Christians and those of other faiths. Divinity is the same in the human system and in nature. The minds of men label them and differentiate.

If one who worships differently, and also professes and acts in compassion working for the peace and welfare of beings, then Christ is in them, whereas for one who calls themself Christian but is cruel and oppressive, is Christ in them? Therefore it is not about names and labels as much as qualities.

Because of the human condition.

No religion is 100% true.

And the best part of the human condition it requires change.

So eventually everyone will change off the t-shirt of their current religion and we'll have a boatload of new ones in the future. One after the other. One coat off another one on.
