I have been trying to remember everything.

Good question...still trying to learn the full truth of why we forget... It's part cover-up, part setting the stage, part deception, part guidance, part good, part evil, and yet has a deeper meaning behind it...I've contented myself with knowing that that's just how the story goes, and that it's ok.

If it's any consolation, your dreams aren't just random brain waves...but glimpses into past and/or alternate lives. Also, all memory should return after we leave, so it's only temporary. :)

Not practical to be here with knowledge from the past.

Have to ask yourself, who is doing the wiping? And whats more real, the memory or what you are experiencing?

We're talking previous life memories...almost everything before existing here on Planet Earth is erased from the memories of outsiders like us.

I feel the same way. It's a much deeper meaning that we don't remember. With dreams, I will wake up and know right away what I dreamt but not 30 secs later it's gone. I won't remember the details or even how it went. I will mainly just remember the emotion I got from it, like if it was intense, sad, horror, happy. There's a few that I remember and they've stayed with me since I was young.

I found that for me personally it's usually the essence and not the details that were important...though in some cases (which is why I said cover-up and deception are a part of it as well) it has kept me from remembering something that I knew was extremely important to remember - such as a message or a warning.

I would say it would all be a part of the real. The memories and now. A lot of questions can be answered with the past. Who is a question I am not sure of.

It would be of no benefit to come here with full memories of the past...It would stop one from growing and developing new skills...The things that are kept as part of each being are the special gifts/talents...And as said prior...This is only a temp job! lol

What about dreams? Why do we have them and then forget them yet some can be remembered?

I've felt the same way for so long, OP. I have finally found a hypnotherapist who does past life regression an hour away and will have that done soon.

Do you think there would be consequences to finding out early? I'm pretty sure dmt would throw me through that locked door but I probably won't remember it. Would it be considered cheating? Or would it be part of the process?

If you could, please let me know what you find out. I have never done anything like that before.

I haven't either. I've never even been hypnotized before! I go in 2 weeks for my initial hypnotherapy session, which will last 45 minutes, and then I'll go back later for my PLR, which lasts a few hours. Excited but kinda nervous too!

Maybe it's better that way? Often the present is tough enough to cope with, the system might shut down when overloaded.

I do not think one could find out anything to early...Things are revealed as needed...Just like a child learning...You want more...And as the child wants...You want it now...Everyone has new open doors as they are ready...You will know what you need for each lesson along the way...It has been done this way for thousands of years...Small steps

I know what you're saying but I'm certain I could take on whatever is behind that door. I think this life did a good job preparing me for it.

OP, imagine if you were to remember every single hurt, pain or loss that happened to you in each of your your lives? It would be overwhelming. I think we "remember" bits and pieces through through our dreams that perhaps help us with our current life. I do not think I would want a flood of memories coming back at me all at once!

Have you heard of Dr. Brian Weiss, the hypnotherapist that does past life regression therapy. He does a lot of conferences around the world too I believe. I have read some of his books - they all resonated with me and essentially turned my views of the afterlife and our own immortality around. His most recent book "Miracles Happen" has a lot of people who submitted their stories of their own past life regressions either on through own or through group past life hypnosis sessions. Very interesting stuff! Also, Dr Weiss has some self hypnosis CD's that you can order and do your own regression work yourself (I have them and it does work for me and I have seen several of my past lives). He also has an online video on his site and youtube I think where he does a group past life regression that you do as well. Basically it is all just self guided meditation and you can definitely.

There is also another hypnotherapist, Dr Michael Newton - who has a lot of great books too about past life regressions as well as the in between lives (where you are up there in the spirit realm between your lives). You should check out his stuff too. I think you are on the right track. I think a lot of people are "remembering" who they really are - you being one of those people.

If you are good at meditation, you can also guide yourself and see your own past lives. There are also plenty of hypnotherapists out there that do past live regressions, just make sure you get one who knows what they are doing.

I have experienced this where everything that is needed comes. It's a great feeling when that happens.

Just today, I was conversing with Myself about this very subject! I was like, Really??? I've been existing and experiencing life here for 27 years now. You can't at least give me a lil of my memories back? Seriously, I'm fucking bored with this physical existence. Yes, I've figured out that we are all part of a grander whole of oneness... But at the moment, I'm kinda feeling stuck in this silly physical existence that won't let me fly whenever I want to. Lol, sounds silly, but it's true. I want some super powers, seriously. ^_^

Sigh... wish my third eye would hury its ass up and open, also. My god, I think I've been patient enough, lol.

Thank you for this, I will check into these. I've been working on different meditation techniques for a little while. I can definitely use some help and advice. I have a hard time calming my mind without falling asleep.

422, be careful what you ask for. Sometimes it's better not to remember your past lives. If you are strong enough you will move forward and overcome all your pain. There's a reason why we reincarnated in this dump. (I shouldn't say dump it's a beautiful world but overrun by psychopathic idiots.)
