Took four attempts, over 3 years before being successful. True change happens slowly:) (for most of us). Keep trying!!! Most frequent question I am asked, "Do you ever just want to light one up"? Honestly, as more time elapses that desire/thought goes away too:) Best of Will to all those trying to quit, its worth it! |

It's a combination of willpower and distraction. You have to replace your cravings with something else. For example whenever I have a craving I drink water. It's good for my body and helps to distract me. "The person who is in love with their vision of community will destroy community. Quoting: Iconoclastics This time I'm actually ready. Coming from a die hard smoker I'm telling you right now you can do it too! Years from now when you're on your deathbed, do you think you will ever feel like you wished you had smoked more cigarettes? No. You won't. In fact, if you are still smoking late into your life and quitting at that point is too little too late, you WILL REGRET IT (even more so if the smoking has put you on your deathbed). ...and don't forget that you are using your hard earned money to poison yourself, the environment and people around you, and to pay for some cocksuckers yacht. Godspeed and Good luck. No more ciggies for me, I'm out. Save the battle speech for quite a few weeks yet lol remember the ones who give a churchill speech with great intentions usually fail to back up with solid action. Recognize the trigger situation when it's happening, and realize it's just the last traces working their way out of your body and consciousness... it can't control you. |
