I've asked all those same questions since this event was reported. Planes don't just disappear without a trace. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18327703 Idk...but I'm sure it's nefarious :/ Sad... Tampa, I believe that is the ONE THING everyone will agree on! |

Quoting: Tampa Heather After I posted that I thought twice, I guess I should never say never... I guess it is possible to not find any debris....highly unlikely, but possible... They will find the debris, Tampa. It's just going to take a while. I like you, no name, you're respectful. However, that being said, if *they* took me to the bottom of the ocean and showed me WITH MY OWN EYES the plane, I still wouldn't believe it... I just have too my knowledge about these things... I was in AF intel and my bf used to be one of the #1 guys at dod.... NOT BUYING IT! Thanks Tampa, I try to be. So, in your opinion, what most likely happened? Idk, and even if I did I probably wouldn't say...I have a 14 yo son to take care of... I can only go on what I KNOW and what me and my bf talk about...he's not even sure but NOTHING is adding up...sometimes, unfortunately, it's just not good to talk about these types of things too much over the phone and he's not in Tampa so I will wait to talk to him in person....but this would all be speculating ofcourse, my bf works for a private entity now and not in the government. I actually think I'm done giving my energy to this anyway...I've spent several hours the past 2 days by the pond sending positive vibes to the family & friends of the "missing" and the "missing" themselves. The thing is when *something* of this magnitude happens it takes a somewhat coordinated effort and since we don't know who is involved, I think I'm done speculating... Better to speculate on things I can change :) Have a great day my friend! What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 22449433 Canada 03/10/2014 09:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A Natural News Article: Quoting: trailingedge See link below for a more detailed description of each. • Fact #1: All Boeing 777 commercial jets are equipped with black box recorders that can survive any on-board explosion • Fact #2: All black box recorders transmit locator signals for at least 30 days after falling into the ocean • Fact #3: Many parts of destroyed aircraft are naturally bouyant and will float in water • Fact #4: If a missile destroyed Flight 370, the missile would have left a radar signature • Fact #5: The location of the aircraft when it vanished is not a mystery • Fact #6: If Flight 370 was hijacked, it would not have vanished from radar Interesting to say the least... Read more: [link to www.naturalnews.com] Just broadcast a radar signal of same frequency in phase 180 degrees. It should cancel out the radar signal and prevent reflection. Thus preventing detection. If it was hijacked in such a way it could be used for a startling terror attack. Like, putting a nuke on board and fly to the DC airport. That was already theorized and feared. The airport is not far from the White House. All it takes is a last minute deviation from landing. No one will be able to hit the White House, as far as we know. But if they could it would be the most spectacular terror attack to date. After all, the terrorists did target the White House and failed. Terrorists are known to come back to a failed target. Try and try again, that's what they do. Just look at how the twin towers were attacked several times before bringing them down. Yeah, the "terrorists" planned to hit the W house? Who are the terrorists you speak of? Sounds like a plot of some cheesy b movie. 9/11 2 unfinished business!! The terrorists (some of them) are in the white house, congress, supreme court etc. etc. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 32623531 Australia 03/10/2014 09:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Fact number 7. Modern planes have all their systems constantly monitored and the information is continually sent back to the MANUFACTURERS by telemetry to allow the owners / lease holder / maintenance crews to know EXACTLY how the plane is performing giving details of the slightest deviation from optimum. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55293009 The huge cost of fuel means that aircraft is tuned to the highest efficiency. The on-board computer logs nearly every component, ground equipment can make calculations on every meteorological condition encountered. This information is invaluable for the MANUFACTURERS research and development. These fuckers can see what's going on with the plane before the pilot. The technology in a plane, knocks into a cocked hat even the most sophisticated car management systems. They know what was happening and where it happened. They just need time to agree on the story. Nothing is left to chance in this day and age. Wait for the official story, and then listen to the old (retired) hands who know and probably designed / worked with the technology who have nothing to fear speaking out about inconsistencies. The truth is ALWAYS out there wrapped up in all the FUD. Or they can just turn off the transponder and the telemetry as well. The beacon from the blackboxes do work but their range is limited |

The black box makes pings but they still need the area to find it. This craft is down at sea. They do believe it turned around for some unknown reason...no mayday..no distress calls ..could be that a terrorist blew it up...but no one has claimed that..to my knowledge |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 37289132 United Kingdom 03/10/2014 09:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Very interesting... Mumbling ? Gagged ? The Aviation Herald website reported that Subang Air Traffic Control lost radar and radio contact with the aircraft at 01:22 and officially advised Malaysia Airlines at 02:40 that the aircraft was missing.[4] However, a Malaysia Airlines spokesperson said that the last conversation between the flight crew and air traffic control in Malaysia had been around 01:30, and stated that the plane had not disappeared from air traffic control systems in Subang until 02:40, which is long enough for the plane to have been flying across Vietnam.[20] ATC requested another Malaysia Airlines flight, this one en route to Japan and about half an hour ahead of MH370, to try to contact the unresponsive 777. The captain established contact with the crew of MH370 just after 01:30, but could only hear "mumbling".[21] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 15192920 United States 03/10/2014 10:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'ts a big ocean. It's going to take some time to find the wreckage. 370 was most likely blown up or shot down. But, like UAL 553, KAL 007, and TWA 800, we will never know the real story. Quoting: No Name Today 53879055 Ummm....no Certain stuff is buoyant and would float...go check google for plane crashes over the water... THERE WOULD BE A HEAT SIGNATURE THAT WOULD'VE BEEN DETECTED IF IT WAS A MISSILE... Anyone in the intel field of the AF will tell you that...it's not a secret... I respectfully disagree. A 777 in a full stall vertical nosedive would hit the ocean with a VERY small footprint. Flotsam would take time to spread. They will find the aircraft eventually. The only mystery will be what the cause was. how would it get into a full stall vertical nosedive? |
