Jesus is Good.

The subject of the sentences is shepherd. Jesus, the Good Shepherd:

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
(John 10:14)

Read the verse before the one often quoted by people saying Jesus is not God:

18 An important man asked Jesus, “Good Teacher, what must I do to have eternal life?”

19 Jesus said, “Why do you call me good? Only God is good.
(Luke 18:18-19)

Surely the subject of Luke 18:18 is "Teacher", Jesus the Good Teacher. Just like the subject of John 10:14 is "Shepherd", Jesus the Good Shepherd.


If the bible said the following, you might have a point, but it does not say this of course:

An important man said to Jesus: You are GOOD! Jesus said, “Don't call me good? Only God is good. I'm not good, I'm not God".

That is what you WISH the bible said. But it doesn't. In fact the bible has Jesus declaring Himself as GOOD, the GOOD SHEPHERD.

Are you seriously going to sit there and say "Jesus is not good"? If you truly believe that Jesus is saying that He is not good in Luke 18:19, then just come out and say it.

Do you believe Jesus Christ is good? Do you believe Jesus Christ is evil?

Following the logic you are using, you are going to say Jesus Christ is evil.

First and the last = none before him
King of kings king of any king in all creation
Alpha omega = God almighty
Beginning and the end= first being in creation
Good shepherd = God the shepherd
Immanuel= God with us

First commandment I am The Lord thy God

Jesus is Lord and savior

The life Jesus gave life to all

The name above all names = the most high meaning no name is above his

Master = master of creation

Lord of heaven and earth = God himself

This should be pretty simple for people to understand but people are dumb

Dealing in absolutes I see? Do you believe Jesus Christ is evil? No, I don't.

Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. Matthew 22:15

Is Joseph also God?

Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the Council, a good and upright man Luke 23:50

If not, the initial claim holds no bearing.

Lord of all Lords King of all Kings and God of all Gods

To say anything other would say that God is not The Lord and God is not the King yet God himself is The Lord of Lords and God himself is the King of Kings

And he came to this earth to show us himself among us just as he does in Heaven

Why are you so against Good?

Find the passage. Study it closely. Learn a lot.

God is good and Jesus glorifies his Father as we should too. He set the example.

Jesus is not good. Here is what Jesus personally said according to the bible:

34 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
35 For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’;
36 and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’

Do you say Jesus Christ is not good?
