That's exactly right. The Cross is a confrontation that everyone must face. Going to church won't save you saying your a child of Abraham won't save you. Only when one goes to the Cross of our Lord Jesus and repents of their sin individually and seeks forgiveness is one saved. Then God through His Holy Spirit comes into that man or woman and is born again of the spirit.
