You will no longer have to go to work, have to worry about paying bills, or shit like that. This DOOM will keep my alive and constantly busy. Honestly, if something happens this September, it will be the BEST thing that will ever happen to me.. Now before you say "you cant protect your home by yourself", my brother lives with me as well. We both know how to use guns.... Im 99% sure something is going to happen. The signs are getting bigger and bigger every single day. This isnt like Y2K or 2012, there were no credible evidence or signs, or pre-predictive programming showing that doom was going to happen on those days. But this time, it is different... Sadly or otherwise, I share the same feelings. However the one difference is that I have 3 young kids. I'm assuming you dont. I pray for their sake it DOESN'T happen but I secretly want it to. It is a conundrum really. This life sucks and the only joy I get is from my kids. I hate work but need the money. It is a sick and sad vicious circle. i dont have kids. thank god for that. i will never have kids in the future either. i would never bring kids in a fucked up world. in a way, it might be good for some of us. atleast our kids wont have to go to school and get indoctrinated and then work a dead end job and be a slave to the system. if this doom does happen, it will FORCE us to be self sufficient. i rather live in a world where people would barter to buy things instead of working and then using cash. i rather live like the good old days. I also am fighting cancer and would like to see what is to come and don't know how long I will survive. Variables you can't imagine will be in play, things you haven't prepped for. I don't know what they are... could be something simple, a gas valve breaks with no replacement, the shelter proves more difficult to heat than expected... no matter what it is, it will happen and what you think you're 'ready for' will be proven otherwise. Still, I understand the sentiment. I don't think it's 'doom' most people want. I think it's change. I think it's freedom from the exercise wheel our masters have turned our lives into. Escape from the fish bowl of cell phones and constant surveillance. The human spirit cannot abide this pace, this empty mundane trudge from sun to sun.
