I told her call the police yesterday afternoon right after I learned about it, being I avoid open chats and had no idea.

Drama created by chat is inevitable. That is why I avoid them. The drama still seems to find me regardless.


I told her to get a restraining order. Not much I can do from here.

Had stuff stolen from my place by "guests", mistakes can be made. Did have a bloke call me at 2am accusing me of stealing his sticker... and learned a lesson about work numbers, and why I was advised to keep your home address private.

Not sure how it'll work there... depends on his level, if he'd care about such a thing, threat etc.

If I was a little female with bugger all home protection... yeah I'd think about moving

I came in early afternoon yesterday, when he was puking in the bathroom.

I started getting Basketball Diaries flashbacks and told her as much and told her to get him out, not to wait for her mother, and call the super and the police.

She said she hadn't seen The Basketball Diaries.

now that i am thinking about it the conversation that you and me on here were having while this was going on looks like us talking about stuff that fits today in that way

I had an incident in my late 20s, nowhere near dramatic, when I let in two young sales men. They were selling some package to a day spa in town. They knocked on the door and the next thing I knew, they were in my house.

Sitting on my couch I realized these two men were in my home while my partner was working or at school at the time. While they may have had zero nefarious intent, suddenly realizing they were in my space with the door closed, made me feel incredibly unsafe.

I wrote them a check for like $25 to get them to leave and never did anything like that ever again.

Bloody... you two are on opposite ends of the fricken spectrum lol

I've had men try to get into my car while I'm in it, on 3 separate occasions.

Another reason why I'm kind of a shut in. People make me feel unsafe.

My aunt had someone mug her after work.
Messed her up for ages. The cops explained because it was such an unexpected occurrence in what was "always" a safe location that it can take a while to recover.
