So they write stories with different undertones to them. Studio Ghibli I think is a very safe and healthy introduction simply to the idea that magic can imply wonder instead of demonic evil. I think this idea of demonic evil and the extremist attitude that comes with it...is not dissimilar to the way the entire country right now is being pitted against each other. One side is good, one side is evil. There is no grey. It is the inheritance of a highly Manichean, dualistic, extremist world. Of course - Japan DEFINATELY has its own issues. The youth suicide rates are the highest in the world. But, as far as their problems go...spirituality and witch burning isn't one of them. Your first boba tea and mochi! Did you enjoy it? The ones I saw on YouTube look a lot bigger and multilayered. The texture is super weird..like a strawberry flavored earlobe. After the second one..it grew on me. Look like these ones kinda. Unfortunately this is a fact that some people seek to abuse and without consent throw the worst of their energy at another, considering them nothing more than a recycling bin. Scum, really. I also find it fascinating regarding people who 'learn to feed' hamstringing themselves. Those who are not simply in a natural state of being, but rather set out to learn how to steal energy. Also scum. These seem easily recognizable though, it can be amusing to toy with them, letting them expose themselves over time. They almost always end up lashing out in desperation, eventually their efforts resort to 'anger trolling' in order to get a reaction.
