I only saw Ex Machina once and don’t remember being particularly taken with it. I don’t remember much about it.

He tries to free her and she leaves them both to die, IIRC Should go without saying..animals, people and perhaps sentiment machines, don’t like being held captive. And will take any opportunity to escape when/if it presents itself.

Much like the horrible story that dropped yesterday about the twins handcuffed and abused by their mother.
