I'm going to confess my secret love to my lady friend/crush. I wrote her a poem.

I've known her for like 8 years and never had the guts to tell her how I really feel. I know all of the stereotypes of the "friend zone" and all that but I think she has feelings back but she just won't tell them to me until I am honest with her and confess my own first.

Here it goes. Give me feedback. I'm going to email her this tomorrow while she's at work and then that way she will have like 6 hours before she can reply and this will give her time to really contemplate her feelings before being able to email back. If she does email me back while she's working, she will get in trouble from her manager so it will force her to think about it in the back of her mind all day at work and sort out her feelings.

Hey babe, it's me Adam. You know how we have always been friends and never crossed the line, but I think its time baby girl. It is time.

I wanna hold you so close and squeeze you when I see you. It feels like when I have a really bad sneeze that I am trying to hold in and it kills me inside not to just embrace you and passionately make out with you when we go on bike rides. Be my bride when we ride or soon I will died.

You are adorable and you know it. Please let me just show it. I will be your big courageous choo choo train and speed ahead of you while I take charge and you can be my little caboose following behind me. You're a tiny little caboose, but you are cute and sexy. Don't be afraid to get loose with your feelings for me, my little caboose.

Sometimes you will pick me up when I collapse emotionally too and I am like a big ship lost at sea that can't make it through the harbor. You are my little tugboat and you will pull me through the storms and the rocks I can't see. There is a lot of boat traffic, but you are my little tugboat. When you giggle it is like your horn blowing to guide me to safety so I don't hit the rocks and sink. I like your cute little giggle, my tugboat. TOOT TOOT!

Don't think about these things too much, just go with your heart. I'm your big strong cowboy and you are my beautiful horse and together we make a team to ride off into the sunset together. We'll stop for water at the creek and continue on the trail heading towards Utah. I'm not a Mormon and I don't know if you are, but I will accept you even if you are and I think that it is dumb. New Mexico is also beautiful this time of year, I have heard. Saddle up baby! We are heading towards our wedding bells.

So what do you think Lacey? (THIS IS HER NAME) Want to give it a shot and see what happens when friends become something so much more? What do we have to lose but our last chance for eternal love until we die and even after that, neither one of us remarries because our passion dies with one another? Maybe we'll die together cutie, then we don't have to worry about anything because we'll be together at least.

Well, let me know and just remember that no matter what you say, I will ALWAYS love you and never ever let you go, even if I have to just say "screw it" and do something dumb. You're worth it Lacey. You've always been worth it.
