It's not exactly "spiritual" to use one body sensation to override another body sensation.

However, you can totally disable all body sensations through deep meditation. I guess that could be called the spiritual way to manage pain.

Its what you do to make the baby. What better pain relief? I can understand why it would help pain, aside from the physiological reasons....doing it during menstruation relieves pain...

It doesnt have to be a purely 'sexual' thing!
