I've been bitten by a tick, are they dangerous?
I discovered a tick on my leg and I had to pull really hard to get the thing off of me. I know some ticks carry disease. Should I be concerned?

Only if a ring appears outside the bite area.

A ring does not always appear to have Lyme disease...

Most ticks are not a threat. Put rubbing alcohol on it throughout the day. Just watch to see for infection.

How big was it...if you could easily see it....1/8-1/4 inch.....your most likely ok.....deer ticks are super small and hard to see....those are the ones that carry Lyme disease....try to avoid those

It depends upon the tick and your location.

How long the tick was attached also factors into it as well.

I get ticks on me every summer the past 15 years and frequently as a child. Only one year a few years ago did I get sort of sick, don't remember the symptoms anymore but I took colloidal silver for a week or two and felt great after that.

Ticks, even the deer tick that carries Lyme's disease, don't blow their load in you for at least 24 hrs, so if you remove it before then you're fine.
