California's Lake Oroville Main Spillway Severely Damaged/Eroded. Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed

A thought has occurred to me during this low water period. There are a couple of intake structures behind the right abutment of the dam that were installed during construction to supply a second power plant that was never built.
These intakes can bee seen high and dry behind the dam on the ca parks cam (when it pans in that direction).

These intakes were supposedly plugged when the construction of the second power plant was cancelled. But...if these 'plugged' tunnels are leaking, could they be the source of the 'mystery water' that appears on the main spillway when the elevation approaches 800'?

Or the general racking and subsistence of the main gate structure?

Or the 'road gap' between the access road and the gate structure bridge?

Others have talked about subterranean water intrusion in the vicinity of the right abutment of the dam. Could these abandoned intakes be the source?

The damn dam is getting stronger everyday!!

The rapid refilling of the reservoir is thought to be the cause of a 5.7 earthquake at the site in August 1975.

If we receive a series of very wet storms in this coming season, I will be very concerned.
