To be clear, I did move out at 18 into my own apartment, and have moved in and out my folks place over the years in attempts to make it on my own. Things are changing so quickly I don't know what trade to get involved in. I'm not crying about my life, I'm asking for help. I just don't know how to move forward, and if I was homeless with no friends or family, I'd just take myself out. I don't find this world to be compelling enough to suffer in at any cost. Seriously now: ask God to show you if He's real. He will show up, you will find gainful employment and you're going to make it. Personally, I don't know what I'd do without my faith (happen to be Roman Catholic, born again, by the way) because we are, indeed, in treacherous times. Do NOT give up. That loser Satan really wants to take the wind out of your sails. Don't allow that to happen. Bebe |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 74520687 Canada 05/15/2017 05:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I turned 16 and got my license, my parents told me it was time to drive to town and start applying for a part-time job. I've been employed at a job ever since. They paid for my education; I paid for my books and any extras I wanted. I started to buy my own clothes and necessities once I had a job. My parents instilled a very strong work ethic in both me and my sister, starting from a very early age. Why have you gone through long periods of unemployment? How do you plan on supporting yourself? If you don't want an education, then you should have a backup plan as to how you're going to earn a living to function in this world without having to depend on someone else. |
