Can someone explain what is going on...?

Someone time traveling changing the history unintentionally?
Bugg in the matrix?

I mean the quantum mechanics has alot of interesting theories that are in theory possible... But has not been proven yet.

Its actually as bad as the berenstein bears thing- when that first started a few years ago people spent ages scouring the net and going through their childhood belongings looking for proof that it once was Berenstein.

Well ive just spent and hr or so searching " karate kid rising sun bandana" and other various search terms.

Evrerything is that poxy black and white flower bandana.. ebay etc.

Re: Karate Kid Mandela Effect
Mr. Miyagi wore the red sun bandana in a scene as well.

But there's an explanation I remember hearing when the movie came out.

Daniel did wear a rising sun bandana in white/red but was found to be offensive to Japanese Americans and they changed it after the test screenings to this bandana, but promo stills and commercials were done with the original footage. Hence why people remember the red sun and not the black and white one in the movie.

If you guys are thinking of a character with a red bandanna from an iconic 1980s action movie, you might be remembering Stallone as Rambo in "First Blood Part II". He's also an Italian actor, just like Ralph Macchio. It makes sense you would confuse the two.

The thing is, the bandanna is also black in part of the movie. That's NOT a Mandela Effect either.

but daniel was the bully and johnny the hero

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73721344

Nope , it was always red to signify the land of the rising sun.

That was obviously a foctored clip. Or something that bandana was not black.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72436828

Ok, it was never a Japanese Rising Sun bandana. If you'll remember, Miagi was from Okinawa, not Japan. Miagi talked of fighting the Japanese. Miagi's family was killed by the Japanese. Why in the world would Miagi allow a symbol of the Japanese he so hated? He wouldn't, and he didn't.

Just google images

In the original movie poster it was red

But in the movie itself it was black

The poster was iconic and seen everywhere ... That's part of why everybody believes it to be red

The newer poster artwork shows it black

I have an original poster and it is red. .. And it's still red ... No Mandela effect here
