I have it on good authority (from a former JAG Officer) that no lawyer can be a prosecutor in the UCMJ legal system UNLESS THEY ARE A GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE, ie a MILITARY LAWYER (JAG) or a GS agent say from the DOJ.

A civil lawyer like SP could defend someone in a UCMJ court, but not prosecute.

Anyone have any links to anything that spells out how SP has some kind of GS rank (like a GS-13 for example), ie that she's now a Government Service agent that's working some newly appointed agency position? If not, this whole angle about her being a Military (UCMJ) Lawyer prosecuting should be disregarded.
