Yesterday my little liberal Eastern city held it's annual "Porchfest". 50,000+ people of all ages were walking from porch to porch each one having a different musical act (some had 3 groups). There were hundreds of porches and driveways that became performance spaces. All the gardens are blooming, and the lilac is at peak too. At one house, they were obviously of South Indian lineage, and they did what they called a "Balliwood" music, but really they did blues covers with Karnatic singing improvisation by a master Karnatic singer. I Really wish she stuck to Karnatic music. Doing a cover like Scarborough Fair with a master improviser was like, a crime. The majority of acts were what has come to be called "Americana"...people re-enacting the way music used to be done in pre electric America, including brass bands with mandolins and banjos and fiddles, a tradition that used to exist all over Europe and America. They are coming back in liberal cities. Come out and see.

I think Christianity helps in the fact that it does state God is not a respecter of persons. Although Islam has tried to implement a Utopian society it does not work. You need to gain some sort of interest on your money. You cant expect to hoard the money you have to keep keep it flowing into the economy. Giving it to the poor should not be dictated it takes out the joy in helping other people when you feel grateful for the things God gives you. Trump has shown hard work savings opening up a business in his life and that you can do that also in your own life.
