Marriage
Why was marriage invented? To control the people from being human?

A lot of people divorce the one they once promised to never leave.
A lot of people cheat on their wife or husband.

Metoo (whatever) proves that flirting and sexual utterings are hard to resist.

Is marriage only a system to protect our children from the lies for their future?

In the East they don't even have a choice whó they will marry.

In some Muslim countries, divorce is forbidden.

Why this 'control' through the ages?

We can 'think' in the meantime. Maybe not...

Re: Marriage
It is the best of many choices .

Particularly if you are the male ...

The ancient celts were tribal and the sisters children inherited the land ,because people slept with who they felt for in the tribe at that moment .

That is not a good look for a patriotic society .

This is before Christianity .

Kings were chosen ,for war or peace ,depending on the conditions at the time

If they failed they were killed .... today voted out ...

If land becomes important rather than tribe then the father wants his children to inherit rather than someone from the tribe ...

..and so women were committed to a husband ..maybe not from their choice but in a sort of business deal...

It is called marriage .

Religion, society and marriage, all of that crap only means one thing:

The creation of future cheap and willing slaves.

Not too smart please, that is why the Christians threw smart men into monasteries where they died childless.

Or why cousin marriage (drops IQ of offspring ap. 20%) is accepted in Islam.

Or why the Kalergi plan encourages migration from 3rd world countries with low avg. IQ.

No future slaves raised on my dime offered by me to be enslaved for some made up fiction like society, religion, state, family.

Let the dumb breed and suffer, that is all they are good for and good in anyway.

My parents were married for 53 years. One of the coolest events in my life was when their 8 children gathered for their 50th anniversary. They raised 8 children, and all 8 were there for the 50th. Their magnificence is reflected in my signature.

I have been married for 29 years. My goal is to remain so for at least 25 more years.

Maybe I just don't understand the whole concept.

1 - You like someone
2 - You kiss
3 - It of course all depends on your culture
4 - You get excited
5 - He is so cool!
6 - He thinks you are cool too!
7 - I love you!
8 - I love you too!
9 - Let's get married!

No.

Re: Marriage
The term 'marriage' is derived from 'marry' + '-age'

-age, as we all should know, is simply a suffix to denote the noun form of a verb.

So, marriage is the noun form of 'to marry' - and what does that mean...

It's derived from the masculine word meaning, 'I impregnate'.

The terms husband/wife and father/mother refer to the exact same entities, and it used to be that one was not proclaimed to be a husband or a wife until one produced offspring - the difference is from the perspective. The former pair of husband/wife are used when referring to one another. The latter pair are used when being referred to by the offspring of the pair.

Replace every iteration of marriage in the Bible with 'sexual intercourse' and it will all start to make better sense.

Everything we think of nowadays in terms of rings, vows, social status, and tax filing mechanisms ado with marriage are the controllers' ways of putting a monkey on the back of our most sacred relation with others, which is to mate.

To take what is most sacred and place material and social constraints, expectations, and reasonings upon it is how you corrupt the spirit of mankind for eternity.

All religions are culpable, with no exceptions if you ask me.

Cool! My parents raised 6 children. We all gathered through the years for their funeral.

Yes, they were great! They 'adjusted' to the (then) Christian system. My mother could't bear to have anymore children. But her 'religion' forced her to have another one.

No.

Yeah well, when you consider how much the minds of males and females have been goosed these past 50+ years with hedonistic programming it's no wonder marriages are failing, especially in the west it has been pilloried by social engineers and writers following the dictates from the hidden hand to destroy and subjugate and reduce reproduction of the species.
Worked like a charm.
Here's a marriage and family that worked out till some decided to destroy it.

With the Celts it did not matter who the father was it was irrelevant .

The sister ‘s children inherited ...

It was the closed genetic link ...

The Romans had the father thing ...

You cannot tell who the father is without genetic testing .....

The Celts knew this ..that you could not identify the father ..they were not bothered .it seems

Marriage is to ensure the father knows who his children are in a settled society ,provided the mother plays the game .

Women were sort of traded and seem to be traded in the higher levels of our society by the men .

When marriage works it is good .sadly it does not work for everyone .

I was married for 45 years ...I am not against it ..provided it is a mutual choice .

I loved him ...and miss him a lot ....

In England we have been reverting because the state has been replacing the father as a provider ....as the tribe used to be....

But then there was less population and little communities...whereas now it is more isolated and there is little tribal support ...just social security ....

When marriage works it is the best ....solution ...

Maybe I should better start another thread about 'love'.

What is 'love'?

Love is the thing that get's you married. And you will have a very happy life!

How can any individual promise to another individual to be true and faithful for the rest of ones life?
