I have no doubt that the Saudi’s are responsible for most foreign backed terrorist activities, however I think that Papa was overthrown more so by France and the US because of his plans surrounding the gold-backed dinar. It didn’t help that France owed Libya tons of money.

Edit - That being said it doesn’t exactly matter to me at this point, he’s gone and knowing the responsible parties isn’t going to change that. I want justice for him, but it’s unlikely that I’ll live to see it. Knowing he existed in this world was always enough for me, now I have to live with his absence and the knowledge that for 23 years I thought he wanted nothing more to do with me, when he did. I suppose eventually giving up trying to contact me and respecting my ‘wish’ to be away from him was the most loving thing he did, it ultimately saved my life.
