Believe it or not, this can actually prove to be positive. Think of it in strategic terms. The Dems win the house, what will they do with this power over the next 2 years? Will they improve the lives of their Democrat base? Will they work on issues that matter most to their party - health care, education, infrastructure, etc? Or, will they squander this power over the next 2 years, continue to run on a baseless platform of hate & vitriol - focusing instead on Russia, Trump's taxes and trying to impeach Trump? It's pretty obvious which path the Democrats will take. This will only further abandon their base and strengthen Trump's platform for 2020 elections. To summarize - the Dems have been given enough rope to hang themselves.

If you look at statewide ballot issues, you can see that the younger fascist generation ME, ME, ME all voted for as much free shit as they can get. They have liberal arts degrees which make them unemployable, so they need Daddy Sam to pay for their lives. That's how we got Pedocrats having the House. These people love their local slush funds.

Senators are voted on my the entire state, not just the local area, so those GOP Senators likely lost the blue fascist districts, but there are still enough adults to counter the children's vote statewide. But since they are mostly rural, they have dark fewer House districts.
