Could be, Dem's want the investigation because they think it solidifies their base, but I'm sure Mod/conservative Democrat's are weary of it as well, so why disrupt their fantasy. They would just dream up something else to re-fire their base.

It appears to me Barr want's Muller to finish this job because he believes this will clear the President of "collusion" and put a stop to the nonsense of the media in trying to destroy the President and bring the country back together.

Barr is wrong in that thinking. While the media may have to stop their nonsense IN THAT VEIN, they will not stop their abuse of the President and there are no longer people sitting on the fence. Two years does a lot of damage and people will not believe the outcome if it does not fit their ingrained beliefs.

Muller is conflicted and has been. Him and all his democrat buddies. If Barr can't see that, he is not an appropriate fit. This SC pick should have been someone COMPLETELY non conflicted. Replace Muller with someone like that.

Barr is an absolute TOOL, a total Swamp Thing and it is really shocking that Trump would nominate him. I find it horrifying. We have desperately needed a real AG to start attacking these people, rooting out corruption, putting them in jail and I don't think Trump cares about any of those things. I don't think it's on his radar at all. It's the thing that disappoints me the most about him. There were TWO things people kept shouting at his rallies:

and

LOCK HER UP

Patience - Trump will declassify the docs once the Dems nominate a candidate. He's got powerful intel that can take them ALL down. Once again, he will weather this storm.

This might be a good time for me to once again put out my own theory on Trump. I think Trump is part of the Swamp. Not a Deep part and not a bad guy. I think he genuinely loves America, wants to help and I think he is disgusted by many of these people. BUT...he has been working with them in the System for decades and he is probably compromised too.

I think we have a war, like a gang war, within our govt for control, between the more moderate, somewhat nationalist POLICE STATERS and the globalist, Marxist ones (like Clinton/Obama, etc). Nationalist vs Globalist. So the nationalists, probably mainly the military, got Trump to run because they knew it was essential not to have Hillary take power. She is far too mentally, morally and physically corrupt, and if she had won, she would have fully brought in the POLICE STATE (which they now have in the EU) that Obama, Bushes, Bill C, etc, have been building for at least 20 years. She would have been the Caligula.

So they recruited Trump to stop her and they counter-rigged the election. Everything is rigged. Just about, anything of size/consequence is rigged. So Trump "beat her" but they don't want him to actually dismantle the System - OR THE POLICE STATE - they just want him to manage and grow it economically. No check on corruption.

However the Dems are SO corrupt and there is so much sexual perversion, pedophilia, trafficking etc, the Globalists are still fighting to regain control and defeat Trump and the Nationalists. We have to side with Trump - what else can we do - but we can't view him through rose colored glasses. He is NOT going to change the System and he is NOT going to hire anyone who will honestly pursue corruption. They don't want him to do that and they tell him who to pick. Barr is a perfect example of that.
