Had a bad reaction to one of the diabetic meds given (metformin), refused to take any more, and the VA noted in my chart that I was 'allergic' to it. Did not mention that it was a bad reaction.

Provider and the med warnings did not mention that the med causes hair to fall out, at least in some people. Did not look into it with concern for others still taking it.

And they continue to use this med as their 'go to' med of choice first, for diabetes while failing to warn anyone else beforehand. :/

yeah they are stupid for taking all those pharmaceuticals.

just take the right vvitamins and supplements and nature takes its course.

people who take pharmaceuticals should at least be able to draw the molecular structure and at least understand neurotrasnmitter chemistry

Personally I am allergic to Sulfa. It is an ingredient in many different drugs.

And the drug is renamed and marketed by a different company NOT related to the drug developer

If the drug is safe the parent company sells it to MANY other companies under their patent

If the new drug harms or kills - the 1st marketing company takes the HIT and declares bankruptcy with little recourse ...

I live in the uk but watch nascar sometimes on the dodgy streaming sites and the ads for medication always amuses me list od side effects said really fast is worse than the shit its treating

That tells me that they are concerned about getting sued over allergic reactions. Safer to assume that you’re allergic and not take it then to blindly swallow it knowing you have no recourse.

I couldn't believe it when I heard a commercial that said Don't Take "AAA" if you are allergic to "AAA".

99% of those drugs showed less than 10% efficacy in trials, so you'd be retarded to take them even you aren't allergic.

Helps protect them when a patient is given the drug for the first time and dies from anaphylactic shock from being allergic to the drug.

That is why i always take a very tiny piece of a drug I never had before. If nothing happens overnight, the next day you can take the entre pill.

Ever listen to the side effects of the medications in drug commercials. You can get Gangrene of the Genitals or Die...

Yet they want you to buy the medications to relieve the symptoms of the disease...

More than half the time, the side effects of these medications are the same as the symptoms they are supposed to help or the side effects are far worse than whatever it is they are supposed to treat.
