Gonna get real wierd in another 6 months. Some people will be saying for example "cheeeekn" (for chicken), and others will be saying "ch-kaiiirrrnnn" depending at which split second they utter the word.

K-eustion..it's difficult to do the phonetics since (to me) it's rather strange. But it sounds nothing like in this Cambridge dictionary pronounciation

Macintosh apple (pronounced Mcintosh).
Haas avocados (pronounced hass, rhymes with glass).

I’ve actually experienced the whole words flopping pronunciation thing on mushrooms.. it is really similar to that... but the only difference is this is not fun at all.. instead it makes me really irritated like the person speaking is an uneducated hick or something.. but that’s the thing the person isn’t... and my emotions behind it seem illogical and somewhat unjustifiable for how much it irritates me.

It used to be data, now it is data.
