Saudi Arabia opens tourism to ancient biblical sites
As Saudi Arabia increasingly opens up to tourists, a travel group in the country started offering this week a "first-ever Christian tour of rare sites," promising participants a close-up look at a controversial location believed to be the real Mount Sinai — the mountain where, according to the Bible, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments.

Living Passages is taking a group of 25 people this week through "Jethro's Caves in the land of Midian," believed to be ancient Midian. The tour will be led by Joel Richardson, the author of "Mount Sinai in Arabia: The True Location Revealed."

“This portends to be the most significant new archaeological site in modern history," Richardson told Fox News. “We're tremendously blessed that the Saudi government is allowing us to visit the kingdom to see some of its rich historical and geographic treasures.”

You think Moses wandered around in the wilderness for 40 years?..

epiclol

Actually wilderness is Holy Qumran community.

As Moses lifted up the [old] serpent in the [Holy Qumran community] wilderness, so must the Son of Man. - John 3:14

That was before Israel was found that there was another Holy Qumran community wilderness on the hill north of Dead Sea.

Maybe, they should start tourism at Medina and have reenactments of Mohammed beheading Christians/Jevvws that were already established to start his religion.

Turns out the "wilderness" was actually part of what is now Saudi Arabia. Solomon put a pillar on each side of what was then called the Red Sea where they crossed to flee the Egyptian army.

Rome is not of Christ and Mohammed is not of Arabs teachings. - Nostradamus

So no, Mohammad got nothing to do with Islam overtaken by soulless Arabs who are the descendants of Ishmael.

As Christianity got nothing to do with Roman Catholics and all it breakaway schism with the Vatican.

Little children keep yourself from idols, amen. - 1 John 5:21

The problem with Sowdy is that it is first of all impossible to know what type of woman your going to get under the black cover. Thin women have a way of padding up, fat women tuck in blubber, and horse faces where some sprinkling make up to appear young and fresh.

Worst yet is what that heat does for womens genital stench. It smells worse down there after a day in the desert than a stinking beer shit. This is not an exaggeration.

No wonder men could be ascetics in times of old... Not that hard where the womens pork slits smell like literal dog shit.

There was quite a few Holy Qumran community wilderness since the fall of Atlantis.

Like tabernacle tent in the wilderness is temporary.

Holy Temple build in the wilderness or city?.

Then Solomon Temple is not in the wilderness.

And a greater than Solomon is here.

Are the Saudis allowing foreigners to take a Bible into the Kingdom? They didn't use to. This has been a controversial point for American troops stationed there.

Is the real Mt. Sinai in Saudi Arabia? I'd say it's a 74% probability that it's not.

Re: Saudi Arabia opens tourism to ancient biblical sites
one could tell straight away it was typical ridiculous bullshit when the US government claimed that they dumped bin Laden corpse to the sea to prevent his grave to become a shrine or a place for pilgrimage ...

because the Saudi Wahhabism and by extension al Qaida and ISIS are strictly against shrines and monuments and they destroy them whenever possible ... like Jonah's grave in Iraq ...

the Saudis have destroyed even the graves of Muhammad's wives ...

Destruction of early Islamic heritage sites in Saudi Arabia

The destruction of sites associated with early Islam is an ongoing phenomenon that has occurred mainly in the Hejaz region of western Saudi Arabia, particularly around the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. The demolition has focused on mosques, burial sites, homes and historical locations associated with the Islamic prophet Muhammad and many of the founding personalities of early Islamic history.[1] In Saudi Arabia, many of the demolitions have officially been part of the continued expansion of the Masjid al-Haram at Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina and their auxiliary service facilities in order to accommodate the ever-increasing number of Muslims performing the pilgrimage

I guess in GLPers book anyone who destroys Islamic heritage sites it's a good guy, but isn't it kind of strange behavior from Muslims? and not good for the tourism?

The Saudis really are barbarians compared for instance to the Persians. Great choice for the second most important ally after Israel.

Pakistan and Iran were responsible for 90 per cent of all recorded executions globally and were "out of step" with the rest of the world.
