Macau also has unaffordable property prices and faces the exact same uncertainty of 'one country, two systems' with the MSAR.

About 4 or 5 weeks ago, I got (accidentally) surrounded by the rioters. When the Hong Kongers shouted "Police coming! run away!" (in Cantonese) there were several hundred rioters who didn't move... because they didn't speak Cantonese! They had flown in from Taiwan and spoke Mandarin not Cantonese!

There are a lot of games being played by the US, UK, Taiwan and others. The rioters are school kids, who are being brain washed at (mostly Episcopalian) schools. They are just cannon fodder.

China knows EXACTLY what is going on and who is doing it. They will not make a mistake and use force to crush the rioters.
